You look like your purpose...

YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR PURPOSE

Have you ever stopped and wondered why you look the way you look? Have you ever wondered why others look the way they look? The answer is, YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR PURPOSE! “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

There is also another verse that states that we were intricately woven in the depths of the earth. The word intricately means, having many complexly arranged elements; elaborate. So when I sit back and think about the meaning of that definition and how it correlates with describing GOD’S work on humankind, I am convinced that he thought out in great depth and details every aspect of the human being. As HE was shaping and molding your face, HE considered your purpose and said, “Oh yes! She needs these eyes to compliment her purpose; this skin tone matches her purpose perfectly.”

I can just envision him working on his masterpiece, tilting his head to look from a different angle and saying “That’s it! This is the nose for this purpose”. I don’t know about you but I am getting excited just thinking about it! So, still not convinced that our looks match our purpose? Jeremiah 1:5 says, “I knew you before I FORMED you in the womb; I set you apart for ME before you were born.” GOD formed us before the womb, HE designed us and then HE set us apart for our purpose; for that which HE made us for, HIMSELF. If our make and model is good enough for HIM then everything else is irrelevant! GOD does everything on purpose and he also said that EVERYTHING works out for the good…Your entire being is working out for the good and your being is everything about you; your being is beautiful and your purpose is phenomenal. So that means that if your purpose is phenomenal; then you look PHENOMENAL!

Okay, so let’s review:

We have the Human + Purpose + Good + Set Apart + Being + Phenomenal + Beautiful

= PERFECTED

Sorry, but there is no place for ugly in that equation…
